For a week, North Jakarta installs banners to socialize civil apparatuses and people who usually park their four-wheeled vehicles in North Jakarta Mayor Office's parking lot about emission inspection sticker policy that is planned to be implemented next week.

Hopefully this policy can encourage more vehicle users to carry out emission testing

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim stated, his side cooperates with North Jakarta Environment Sub-department to implement this policy in North Jakarta Mayor Office.

"We give socialization only for this week. After socialization period, four-wheeled vehicles without emission inspection sticker are prohibited from parking in North Jakarta Mayor Office," he asserted, Wednesday (7/10).

For information, four-wheeled vehicle that has passed emission test got emission inspection sticker as proof that the vehicle meets environmental quality standards.

His side has instructed internal security (Pamdal) to validate vehicle's emission inspection sticker through mobile application named e-UJI EMISI. Besides, he also plans to provide emission testing equipment on the location.

"Hopefully this policy can encourage more vehicle users to carry out emission testing in official workshop and register their vehicle via e-UJI EMISI application," he said.
